Managing Attorney Roya Samarghandi has committed her career to serving individuals that may otherwise feel marginalized by the justice system. She is passionate about the law and will work with her clients to reach the best possible outcomes.
Ms. Samarghandi received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating cum laude. She also holds a Masters of Law Degree in International Human Rights from University of Nottingham School of Law (U.K.), receiving merit honors. She enjoys volunteering with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, where she serves as both a volunteer attorney and a member of the Junior Board. She also dedicates her time to the Family Defense Center and First Defense Legal Aid. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Women's Criminal Defense Bar Association. Ms. Samarghandi is also a proud alumni of the Chicago Bar Foundation's Justice Entrepreneurs Project.
